Embedded software engineer in hearing healthcare

For an international R&D project developing advanced technologies for the hearing healthcare sector, we are looking for Embedded Software Engineers. The project focuses on creating a new ecosystem and infrastructure for embedded software to be used in the development of future generations of devices. A large part of the environment is being built from scratch, while selected elements are being rewritten from existing solutions. The project is carried out in an international R&D environment.

• Designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining tools that support embedded software development
• Implementing solutions in accordance with adopted standards and good practices
• Gathering, analyzing, and clarifying requirements
• Developing new functionalities and maintaining and troubleshooting the existing codebase
• Ensuring high code quality, clean code, and adequate test coverage
• Conducting code reviews and reviewing technical documentation
• Creating and updating documentation, user guides, and interface descriptions
• Ensuring architecture quality and compliance with the architectural roadmap
• Integrating new functionalities across systems
• Collaborating with other engineers and the verification area
• Analyzing the causes of problems and conducting root cause analysis
• Participating in improvements to the software development environment
• Developing design rules, development patterns, coding guidelines, and best practices
• Participating in the software component release process

• At least 3–4 years of experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining embedded software systems
• Very good knowledge of Python
• Practical experience with CI/CD systems, such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
• Experience gained in large and complex technology environments
• Ability to independently complete tasks with incomplete or changing requirements
• Ability to take an analytical approach and solve problems
• Openness to using various technologies
• Ability to collaborate in an international environment
• Knowledge of English enabling fluent communication

• Cooperation is based on a B2B arrangement.
• 100–135 PLN net/hour for Mid (3–5 years of experience)
• 135–150 PLN net/hour for Senior (5–7 years of experience)
• 150–185 PLN net/hour for Expert (7–11 years of experience)
• The cooperation is between businesses (B2B) and covers the provision of services within the agreed project scope. The contractor independently organizes how the services are delivered, taking into account project requirements, security, and the necessary communication with the client. Information about location, availability, or project meetings is organizational in nature and does not imply employee subordination or work under the client's direction.
