development manager for medical imaging software

The team develops high-performance applications for digital treatment planning, 3D visualization, and patient data processing, used by clinicians worldwide. The product operates in a regulated medical device environment where quality, traceability, and engineering discipline are essential.

• Lead a cross-functional development team of developers, QA, and DevOps, and own technical delivery end to end
• Write, review, and refactor production C++ code; set coding standards and engineering best practices
• Drive architecture and design decisions, including performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Translate business and clinical requirements into technical solutions with the client’s product and engineering stakeholders
• Plan and track work, including estimation, sprint planning, risk management, and status reporting
• Ensure compliance with medical device software development processes and quality requirements
• Mentor engineers, conduct technical interviews, and contribute to team growth
• Act as the main technical point of contact for the client’s engineering leadership

• 8+ Years of professional software development experience with strong modern C++ (C++17/20)
• 2+ Years leading development teams while remaining hands-on
• Solid experience with software architecture, design patterns, and multithreading
• Experience with performance optimization and profiling
• Experience with Agile delivery, planning, and estimation
• Strong communication skills and experience working directly with international clients
• English at C1 level or higher
