Working closely with Portfolio Managers and Analysts, the successful candidate will build tools, engineer datasets and apply scripting and machine learning techniques to embed data-driven research across the team’s investment process.

Educated to degree level or equivalent in a subject such as Statistics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics or Computer/Data Science or similar. CFA or IMC would be advantageousPython, R, SQL or other languages used to engineer large datasetsExperience applying scripting, automation and AI techniques to enhance research or workflowsFundamental understanding of core machine learning conceptsNo direct experience of equity markets is necessary, but a genuine knowledge of, and willingness to learn about investing and financial markets is valuedDisability Confident Scheme
