• Shape the architecture of data products for data analytics and data science use cases, including forecasting, feature engineering, customer behaviour, and new data source integration;
• Establish data transformation best practices in data modelling, performance optimisation, and data governance;
• Build reusable technology that enables teams to ingest, store, transform, and serve their own data products;
• Engage with data scientists and machine learning engineers to explore the product landscape and refine data requirements for enhanced data infrastructure;
• Pursue continuous learning and experimentation with emerging technologies, including open-source tools and community-building activities.

• Expert knowledge of batch, distributed data processing and near real-time streaming data pipelines using technologies such as Kafka, Flink, and Spark;
• Experience implementing Data Lake or Big Data Analytics platforms with cloud-based solutions; AWS preferred;
• Proficiency in Python programming and software engineering best practices;
• Expertise in RDBMS, data warehousing, and data modelling with relational SQL, including Redshift and PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL databases;
• Proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline management, and infrastructure as code deployment best practices;
• Nice to have: Databricks, data quality and data governance techniques, MLOps, feature engineering, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, XGBoost, LightGBM, Apache Oozie, Apache Airflow.
