Prima uses data and technology to rethink motor insurance, providing online motor insurance for drivers in Italy, the UK, and Spain.

• Design, build, and operate reliable and scalable systems by defining and monitoring SLOs/SLIs;
• Work directly on production infrastructure and collaborate with software engineers on system design and reliability improvements;
• Develop automation for infrastructure and operational workflows to eliminate toil and reduce MTTR;
• Participate in and lead incident response;
• Drive blameless post-incident reviews and implement concrete follow-ups in code and tooling;
• Analyze and optimize system performance and cost;
• Provide data, insights, and recommendations for capacity planning;
• Support security best practices through vulnerability remediation and threat mitigation;
• Engage stakeholders to propose solutions and share learnings;
• Mentor others.

• Hands-on experience with SRE practices in production;
• Strong AWS expertise;
• Experience with Kubernetes, networking, DNS, and Infrastructure as Code;
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with a focus on code quality and maintainability;
• Solid Python proficiency and deep knowledge of the Python ecosystem, including testing, debugging, and packaging;
• Experience improving system reliability and leading incident response and RCAs;
• Nice to have: Pulumi, experience in highly regulated industries such as Insurance, Banking, or Healthcare, sensitive data management, secure networking setups, Cloudflare, microservices architectures, distributed systems, RabbitMQ, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, Datadog, database structures, operational troubleshooting, PySpark, and MLOps practices including model registries, versioning, retraining workflows, and deployment lifecycles.
