задачи
Design the AWS data lake architecture, data model, and partitioning
Build ingestion pipelines from MySQL (RDS), application events, and third-party sources using CDC, batch, and incremental loads
Develop ETL/ELT jobs and transformations with Glue, PySpark, and SQL, including data quality checks and monitoring
Prepare analytics-ready datasets and support dashboards and reports for learning analytics, usage, and district-level reporting
Implement data governance, including district opt-in, access control, PII handling, encryption, and auditing for FERPA/COPPA, state laws, and DPAs
Describe data infrastructure as code together with DevOps using Terraform
Participate in estimation, technical discussions, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and present results to the customer
требования
4+ Years of commercial Data Engineering experience
Hands-on AWS experience with S3, Glue jobs and crawlers, Data Catalog, Athena, Lake Formation/IAM, Lambda, and Step Functions
Experience building a data lake or lakehouse from scratch, including Parquet, Iceberg/Delta/Hudi, and partitioning
Strong Python (PySpark) and advanced SQL skills
Experience ingesting data from relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, with CDC using AWS DMS or similar
Experience with orchestration using Airflow (MWAA), Step Functions, or Dagster
Experience with analytics data modeling, including dimensional modeling, data quality, and testing
Knowledge of security and governance practices for PII, including encryption, row- and column-level access, and auditing
Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or CDK, Git, and CI/CD basics
English B2 or higher
Будет плюсом: Redshift, QuickSight or other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Superset), dbt, streaming with Kinesis or Kafka, EdTech/student-data privacy (FERPA, COPPA) experience, AWS Data Engineer or Data Analytics certifications
