data engineer for commercial marketing

Van Lanschot Kempen is a financial institution providing wealth management and online wealth management services. Its Evi department operates as an online wealth manager, combining a start-up-like environment with the resources of an established financial company.

• Modernize the commercial data warehouse and prepare the platform for data-driven marketing;
• Build and maintain the commercial data warehouse in Azure;
• Develop robust data solutions for commercial teams;
• Ensure high-quality, reliable and well-structured data for the commercial department;
• Translate commercial and client needs into scalable data solutions;
• Support hyper-personalization and data-driven customer journey capabilities;
• Ensure solutions meet best practices for data quality, security, compliance and scalability.

• At least 3 years of full-time experience in data engineering;
• Expertise in Databricks for building, optimizing and monitoring data ingestion and transformation pipelines;
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure data services and Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-aware delivery;
• Experience developing and maintaining data warehouses;
• Experience designing data models for segmentation, campaign automation, analytics and hyperpersonalization use cases;
• Growth mindset and genuine interest in marketing, customer behaviour, personalization and new data technologies;
• Ability to bridge commercial stakeholders and technology teams and translate business needs into secure, scalable and impactful data solutions;
• Experience using a range of AI applications to support professional activities;
• Good mastery of English, both oral and written.

• Gross monthly salary between €4.500 and €5.500, compatible with knowledge and experience;
