data engineer for AI & Data

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing frameworks for analytics and AI use cases;
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects and technical leads to translate business requirements into data engineering solutions;
• Implement and optimize data ingestion, transformation and orchestration processes using Snowflake and AWS, Azure or GCP;
• Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to ensure data quality, reliability and performance;
• Support modern data platforms, including Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Lakehouse and Data Mesh architectures;
• Contribute to CI/CD processes, Infrastructure as Code and data workflow automation;
• Troubleshoot, tune performance and optimize existing data solutions;
• Participate in POC/POV initiatives and support innovation in data engineering practices and tools;
• Contribute to the growth of the Snowflake technology practice in AI & Data and share knowledge within the team.

• Desire to develop competencies in cloud technologies and modern data engineering tools;
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment;
• Familiarity with data modeling basics, performance optimization and data loading;
• Familiarity with Snowflake or willingness to learn;
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure or GCP;
• Practical knowledge of SQL and experience building data pipelines;
• Experience with at least one programming language, preferably Python;
• Understanding of ETL/ELT, data warehousing and data lakes;
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration and pipeline tools;
• Basic knowledge of data quality, data governance and data security principles;
• Ability to work with APIs and integrate data from multiple sources;
• Excellent spoken and written English at B2 level;
• Nice to have: DBT, Matillion, Airflow or similar tools, Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, containerization such as Docker or Kubernetes, streaming technologies such as Kafka, modern architectures such as Data Mesh or Lakehouse, Agile delivery models, team management experience, Snowflake or related certifications.
