Data Engineer

Zurich Insurance Group is a global insurance company. Its Technology Delivery Center in Barcelona provides technological solutions and support to local and global business units, specializing in software development, data analytics, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.

• Architect and develop end-to-end scalable and secure processes;
• Process ETL data in AWS or other cloud environments using Spark or Databricks in batch or real-time settings;
• Implement MLOps and CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins;
• Develop microservices deployed in cloud environments;
• Deploy solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies;
• Define industrialization and operational strategies for MLOps models;
• Align business needs with technical requirements and architecture;
• Develop AI products based on LLMs and fine-tuning techniques.

• Advanced Python;
• 5 Years of Python experience;
• 4 Years of cloud engineering experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure;
• 3 Years of experience building multi-cloud CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments;
• 2 Years of experience designing and deploying distributed microservices;
• 2 Years of experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, AI agents, and MCP servers;
• 2 Years of experience building APIs and end-to-end backend solutions;
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or similar, Git or similar, LLMs, Spark, and Azure DevOps or Jenkins;
• Nice to have: English, German, and Spanish.
