C# Developer

The customer is a premier USA national Property/Casualty and Professional Liability insurance carrier that designs, markets, and underwrites commercial products and services. EPAM provides support and modernization services for a business-critical system for this client.

• Provide high-quality support for existing modules and create small-to-medium enhancements;
• Maintain parts of the application written in VB (Visual Basic) and ASP;
• Develop new features on C# / .NET;
• Follow and help optimize established development, testing, and release processes;
• Interact and communicate directly with the Customer's technical and business stakeholders;
• Analyze incoming business requirements, participate in grooming sessions, and provide accurate estimates;
• Prepare and execute support releases to ensure high system availability.

• Senior-level C# & .NET expertise with strong knowledge of .NET Framework (versions 2.0 to 4.0);
• Hands-on experience or solid understanding of VB (Visual Basic) for supporting and troubleshooting legacy parts of the system;
• Strong proficiency in MS SQL including writing queries, stored procedures, and optimization;
• English B2 (Upper-Intermediate) for direct communication with the US-based customer;
• Strong debugging and analytical skills;
• Nice to have: Experience with ASP pages and XSLX processing, familiarity with Azure DevOps (pipelines, boards, source control), domain knowledge or practical experience in the Insurance / InsurTech domain (especially Property/Casualty or Professional Liability).
