Manage, coordinate, and streamline the OpenXLA pull request workflow within a large-scale, high-concurrency open-source C++ repository;
Diagnose, debug, and implement code fixes for failed OpenXLA pull requests and internal automated test suites where resolutions are well understood or non-complex;
Monitor open pull requests, conduct technical triage, and maintain professional communication with pull request authors and community contributors;
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex build and runtime failures across XLA:GPU and XLA:CPU pipelines;
Follow established OpenXLA engineering practices and determine issue severity and technical complexity to guide escalation paths;
Escalate deep compiler or hardware architecture issues, special privilege requests, and non-trivial investigations to the appropriate FTE or rotation teams.
требования
5+ Years of commercial software engineering experience with a strong foundation in modern C++ (C++14/17/20);
Experience working with large-scale, complex C++ open-source codebases and managing pull request workflows;
Strong expertise in C++ build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging build and test failures in Linux environments;
Professional experience in semiconductor, chipmaker, hardware design, or enterprise hardware organizations;
Strong analytical and triage skills, with the ability to independently isolate root causes in software failures and determine escalation paths;
High autonomy, proactive follow-up habits, and strong technical communication skills;
English for professional communication;
Nice to have: Direct experience with LLVM infrastructure, compilers, or code generation frameworks, exposure to XLA, OpenXLA, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or deep learning compiler internals, understanding or hands-on experience with GPU/CPU architectures, memory models, and hardware acceleration such as CUDA or ROCm, familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools, experience with Google internal development environments and tooling.
