JetBrains Runtime is based on LTS versions of OpenJDK and serves as the low-level foundation for the IntelliJ Platform and many JetBrains development tools, including IntelliJ IDEA.
задачи
- Provide low-level support for UI frameworks such as Swing and Compose for desktop;
- Improve the appearance and performance of IntelliJ-based IDEs.
требования
- 4+ Years of C or C++ programming experience;
- Solid knowledge of Java and JVM internals;
- Deep understanding of OOP;
- Experience with multithreaded programming;
- Familiarity with system or UI application development on Unix, Windows, or macOS using Cocoa, GNOME, Win32 API, or similar technologies;
- In-depth knowledge of modern hardware-accelerated APIs such as Metal, Vulkan, OpenGL, or D3D;
- Ability to optimize and refactor your own code and code written by others;
- Responsible, independent, and disciplined approach to work;
- Good teamwork skills;
- Nice to have: Objective-C or Kotlin, Cocoa, X11, Wayland, deep knowledge of JVM architecture.
