• Share practical, candid insight into day-to-day embedded development workflows;
• Walk the team through tooling choices, including how they are made, adopted, and evolved;
• Discuss debugging workflows, build systems, IDE fragmentation, and productivity blockers;
• Explain constraints such as compliance requirements, certified toolchains, and RTOS environments;
• Help the team understand the reasoning behind the status quo;
• Participate in structured interviews or workshops.

• 5+ Years of hands-on embedded C/C++ development experience;
• Background in a larger company or as a supplier to one, such as automotive, industrial, consumer electronics, or medical;
• Strong software focus including firmware development, debugging, testing, build tooling, and workflows;
• Experience with RTOS usage, low-level hardware interaction, and peripheral-heavy development;
• Familiarity with real-world compliance, requirements management, or certified tooling environments;
• Ability to reflect critically on tooling and processes and explain the reasoning behind them.
