backend developer in insurance

Yango is a global technology ecosystem building digital services across more than 30 countries. Its services include ride-hailing, delivery, e-commerce, mapping, entertainment, and AI. The team is developing a high-load insurance platform integrated with several Yandex services, selling more than 10,000 policies per day.

• Launch integrations with partner websites, applications, and internal platforms; implement APIs, data models, and product interaction flows using platform components
• Support the full lifecycle of insurance products, from presenting offers under high RPS load to processing claim payouts
• Develop product features by expanding integrations, improving user experience, and adding functionality
• Build reusable platform components for pricing, scoring, billing, and insurance product and contract management
• Design and implement platform components, define their architecture, and integrate them into the platform lifecycle
• Solve high-load infrastructure challenges, including hot-cold storage, large-dataset search, integration testing automation, caching, and sharding
• Hire and train team members, lead and develop the team, and build an engineering foundation for business growth

• Strong programming skills and experience writing production code
• Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Experience with C++ and backend development
• Interest in complex engineering challenges and scalable systems
• Motivation to grow and take ownership of technical solutions
