Experience with Python 3.12+, FastAPI, asyncio, WebSocket, and REST APIs, or strong engineering experience in one of the listed alternative language backgrounds;
AWS Bedrock experience is required, or familiarity with Anthropic Claude API, OpenAI API, Google Gemini API, Vertex AI, or similar;
Experience with streaming APIs, tool/function calling, and multi-step agent workflows;
Familiarity with RAG, MCP, prompt engineering, context enrichment, conversation history management, and external API integrations;
Basic understanding of transformer architecture and attention mechanisms, tokenization, embeddings, context windows, and data pipeline fundamentals;
Experience with automated testing, mocking external services, LLM evaluations, and guardrails;
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, AWS, and Kubernetes/Helm;
Nice to have: gRPC, real-time audio streaming, Gemini Live, ElevenLabs TTS/STT, AWS Connect, DynamoDB, MQTT, and IoT integrations.
