Arlo Technologies develops Smart Home devices with advanced video and audio analytics features.

• Develop new features for video and potentially audio understanding, covering the full scope from data analysis and labeling to algorithm development and accuracy evaluation.

• Hold a BS in Computer Science or a related technical field and have 4+ years of industry experience, or equivalent practical experience;
• Have proven experience building and shipping production ML systems end to end, including data, training, evaluation, deployment, and iteration;
• Have strong computer vision expertise in detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, or video understanding;
• Have 2+ years of production experience with LLMs or VLMs;
• Be proficient in Python, PyTorch, AWS, and Docker;
• Have experience with distributed systems, embeddings, vector search, and multimodal retrieval;
• Have experience building tool-using AI agents and strong evaluation and data-quality practices;
• Be comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and Codex, have a bias toward shipping, and communicate effectively in writing;
• Nice to have: an MS or PhD in ML, Computer Vision, or a related field.
