backend developer for AI solutions

• Develop backend functionality for innovation products, primarily with Python, Django and/or FastAPI;
• Translate designs and user stories into working software;
• Deliver features end-to-end, including testing and deployment support;
• Build and maintain components, APIs, integrations and backend services;
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and data services;
• Write clean, secure, maintainable and scalable code;
• Write unit tests and support integration and regression testing;
• Perform peer reviews and contribute to overall code quality;
• Support troubleshooting, bug fixing and performance improvements;
• Identify technical risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities;
• Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps practices and Agile/Scrum events;
• Document technical decisions and implementation details;
• Create new solutions from ideation to production with a focus on Agentic AI;
• Develop new features, integrate systems, and scale and improve solutions;
• Prototype new ideas, further develop existing products, and explore agentic AI solutions for business problems.

• Minimum of 3 years of software development experience;
• Bachelor's level of working and thinking in a relevant field;
• Strong knowledge of Python with solid experience in Django and/or FastAPI;
• Solid understanding of backend development;
• Good understanding of REST APIs and SQL databases;
• Experience with AI, LLMs, or agentic solutions;
• Experience with unit and integration testing;
• Familiarity with Git, pull requests and code reviews;
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments;
• Experience mentoring or advising peers on development practices;
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and/or SAFe environments;
• Knowledge of security best practices and development standards;
• Ability to independently deliver features based on functional designs;
• Good analytical, communication and collaboration skills;
• Proactive mindset and comfort working with changing requirements;
• Nice to have: experience with vector databases, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, Azure including AKS and Azure DevOps or similar cloud environments, frontend frameworks such as React, Data Science or Data Architecture.
