Android developer in banking

We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to join the team responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications in the banking sector. The person in this role will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing modern mobile solutions that support digital banking. The role involves close collaboration with development teams, business analysts, and IT architects to deliver efficient, secure, high-quality applications for the Android platform.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for the Android platform.
• Writing high-quality, efficient, and readable code using Kotlin or Java.
• Implementing new features and developing existing solutions.
• Integrating mobile applications with backend systems using REST APIs.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Preparing and performing unit tests.
• Analyzing and resolving technical issues and optimizing application performance.
• Collaborating with analysts, architects, and business teams.
• Ensuring code quality and adherence to Clean Code principles.
• Participating in the development and continuous improvement of mobile applications.

• At least 5 years of experience in Android mobile application development.
• Very good knowledge of Kotlin or Java.
• Practical experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Knowledge of the Git version control system.
• Experience integrating applications with REST APIs.
• Knowledge of JSON and XML data formats.
• Very good knowledge of Clean Code principles and good programming practices.
• Ability to write unit tests.
• Experience developing and maintaining mobile applications.
• Ability to independently resolve technical issues and work as part of a team.
• Будет плюсом: Experience conducting Code Reviews; Knowledge of RxJava; Knowledge of the MVVM architectural pattern; Experience working on projects in the banking or financial sector; Knowledge of software development processes in an Agile/Scrum environment
