• Develop new features in collaboration with other native Android developers
• Collaborate with the Insurance Mobile Apps team to create a seamless experience across mobile platforms
• Maintain the quality of the Booking.com app in production by monitoring crashes, responding to incidents, resolving complex bugs, and leading incident investigations when necessary
• Support colleagues’ professional growth and play a significant role in onboarding new team members
• Continuously improve owned services’ performance and resource efficiency
• Keep the Insurance product and new features up to date with technology standards and department guidelines
• Meet service-level agreements for test coverage and quality by implementing tests and processes
• Profile apps to identify bottlenecks, optimize performance, and set up and monitor app health metrics
• Connect business and product goals to complex technical tasks
• Prioritize issue resolution based on customer impact
• Collaborate with app developers, backend developers, product owners, and quality specialists to improve the customer experience within the app platform

• At least 3 years of experience as an Android Developer, with Kotlin as the primary language
• Hands-on experience building production UI with Jetpack Compose
• Understanding of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous and reactive programming
• Experience with modern Android architecture (MVVM/MVI, Jetpack ViewModel, Navigation) and dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger)
• Experience writing unit, UI (Compose/Espresso), and screenshot tests
• Experience with multi-module Gradle projects
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent English, spoken and written
