AI in web products

We are a young technology startup building an AI-powered web product. We are currently forming a small but strong core team that will directly participate in building the product from scratch, influence decisions, and grow together with the company. (Note: This announcement seeks two different specialists for our team at the same time. You can apply for the area that suits you based on the requirements below.)

• Design and develop the AI agent within the product from scratch.
• Integrate LLM models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others) into the product via APIs.
• Create prompts, agent workflows, and logic for working with tools (tool / function calling).
• Ensure that agent responses are based only on verified information and hallucination
• Build an evaluation system that measures response quality through test sets, metrics, and automated checks.
• Monitor and optimize model costs (token consumption), response speed, and reliability.
• Try new models and approaches, and present the results to the team.
• Work closely with the data scientist, frontend developer, and technical lead.
• Develop the web application interface using React and TypeScript.
• Create and maintain a unified design system for the product based on a ready-made component library (shadcn/ui or similar).
• Create a responsive interface that works correctly on all devices (mobile, tablet, computer).
• Design and build the interface for working with the AI agent (displaying responses in real time/streaming, user review and editing).
• Design and implement all interface states (empty, error, loading).
• Integrate with the backend API and organize state management.
• Ensure page speed and accessibility.
• Quickly improve the interface based on user feedback.
• Write tests for components and maintain code quality.
• Work closely with the AI engineer and technical lead.

• Strong knowledge of Python.
• Practical experience with LLM APIs (at least one fully working or launched project).
• Deep understanding of prompt engineering, function calling, and RAG principles.
• Experience working with vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Qdrant, or similar).
• Skills in working with REST APIs, JSON, and Git.
• Ability to read technical documentation in English fluently.
• Strong knowledge of React and TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience working with Tailwind CSS.
• Skills in preparing designs and prototypes in Figma.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles; a good eye for typography, composition, and color.
• Experience working with REST APIs, asynchronous requests, and Git.
• Mandatory requirement: Provide a portfolio that includes both design and code samples (GitHub or live websites).
