AI engineering architect

Muse Group creates apps for playing, recording, and composing music, as well as learning tools, music catalogs, and free open-source software. Hal Leonard, part of Muse Group since 2023, publishes sheet music and music education materials and distributes musical instruments, gear, and software worldwide.

• Own internal AI tooling and infrastructure that accelerate product development, including agentic coding, evaluations, and engineering workflow automation

• Strong hands-on experience building production AI/LLM-powered developer tools, including agentic coding, RAG, and evaluations
• A track record of measurably improving engineering velocity through tooling and demonstrating its impact
• Deep familiarity with modern software delivery, including CI/CD, code review practices, and testing
• Ability to make and defend technical infrastructure decisions, including model and provider selection and build-versus-buy choices
• Comfortable working directly with engineering leadership and individual contributors
• Prior experience as a platform engineer, DevEx lead, or AI/ML infrastructure engineer
• Experience using agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor at scale in an organization
• Background in evaluation and benchmark design for measuring tool impact
