The company develops software that simplifies medical processes and billing documentation in hospitals, helping them improve revenue and enabling medical staff to focus on patient care. Its software is used in more than 1,200 clinics in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

• Design, develop, and evaluate data science and AI solutions for medical use cases
• Build and operate Agentic AI systems, including multi-agent workflows, tool use, orchestration, memory, and guardrails
• Apply and further develop LLMs to process, analyze, and generate medical data, including texts, findings, and codes
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and clinical experts, including physicians, pharmacists, medical coders, and controllers
• Translate specialist requirements into robust, scalable software solutions
• Ensure data protection, traceability, and regulatory compliance in healthcare

• Hold a degree in computer science, medical informatics, business informatics, data science, or a comparable field
• Have experience in at least one of these areas: Java backend development, Spring Boot development for FHIR servers, or interface development with Mirth Connect in Java/JavaScript
• Have basic knowledge of at least one of the other areas
• Have strong knowledge of database systems such as MS SQL or PostgreSQL
• Have a solid understanding of applied data science, including machine learning, deep learning, and statistical analysis
• Be proficient with generative AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, prompt/context engineering, and fine-tuning
• Have experience building Agentic AI systems, including agent architectures, workflow orchestration, and tool integration
• Have very good Python programming skills
• Have structured, solution-oriented working practices and enjoy collaborating with non-technical stakeholders
• Be able to work independently and engage with new and complex topics in medical products
• Have a German work permit
• Have German proficiency at negotiation level (C2)
