• Translate business requirements into reliable, production-ready AI services and assistant capabilities;
• Develop end-to-end AI applications across backend engineering, orchestration, testing, integration, and deployment;
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data platform teams, and software engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions;
• Build and optimise AI assistant workflows using modern orchestration frameworks and LLM technologies;
• Develop reusable tools, APIs, schemas, and service components to accelerate AI delivery;
• Implement automated testing and quality assurance processes for AI applications;
• Contribute to CI/CD processes, containerised deployments, and operational readiness;
• Monitor solution performance and continuously improve quality, reliability, and effectiveness;
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and responsible AI standards.

• Strong commercial experience building production-grade AI applications in Python;
• Expertise with FastAPI, Pydantic, API integrations, and backend service development;
• Experience working with LLMs, AI assistants, prompt engineering, orchestration frameworks, and the OpenAI ecosystem;
• Strong knowledge of Databricks, SQL, Python, ETL pipelines, and enterprise data integration;
• Experience with automated testing, unit testing frameworks, and AI evaluation methodologies;
• Understanding of Docker, CI/CD practices, cloud environments, and infrastructure tooling;
• Ability to work cross-functionally with data, software engineering, and product teams;
• Strong communication skills and a practical approach to delivering business-focused AI solutions.
