ux/ui designer for outdoor living products

PERGOLUX designs and sells Scandinavian-inspired outdoor living products, including pergolas and garden furniture, directly to consumers across eight markets.

• Own end-to-end UX and UI across key e-commerce journeys with a strong mobile-first focus;
• Lead the redesign of the website toward an attractive, modern design matching the premium outdoor living positioning;
• Turn product pages into clear educational experiences about pergolas and awnings;
• Use research, analytics, and usability testing to validate design decisions and improve usability and conversion;
• Build and maintain a lightweight design system and reusable components;
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Content, and Marketing to align user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

• Several years of experience in UX and product design, ideally within e-commerce or consumer-facing digital products;
• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership from problem framing to polished UI and validated outcomes;
• Solid visual craft and the ability to express a brand through clean, mobile-first design;
• Hands-on experience with research, usability testing, and analytics to inform and defend design decisions;
• Nice to have: experience building or maintaining design systems and reusable components.
