UI/UX designer for fitness apps

FITKLUSIV is a growing fitness and wellness company combining personal training, modern fitness experiences, and smart technology. We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who will shape our digital customer experience — from the first interaction and membership signup to everyday app usage and digital access. You will work closely with the founders and development team to create intuitive user journeys, polished interfaces, and practical internal tools. We are looking for someone who combines strong UX thinking with a refined visual style that reflects FITKLUSIV’s premium positioning.

• Map the customer journey across key digital touchpoints.
• Identify friction points and turn complex processes into simple, intuitive experiences.
• Translate business goals and customer needs into clear user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Validate design decisions through user feedback and usability testing.
• Continuously improve usability, accessibility, and consistency.
• Own the UI/UX design of the FITKLUSIV app.
• Create clear navigation, screen layouts, and interactions that help members complete everyday tasks easily.
• Design complete flows, including loading, empty, error, and success states.
• Prepare detailed, development-ready designs and support implementation.
• Design a smooth membership experience, from exploring plans and signing up to payment and membership management.
• Make pricing, membership options, and next steps easy to understand.
• Reduce unnecessary steps and friction throughout onboarding and checkout.
• Balance business conversion goals with clarity and ease of use.
• Design an intuitive digital key experience that allows members to access fitness facilities confidently.
• Clearly communicate access availability, activation, and entry status.
• Design helpful guidance for unsuccessful access attempts and other exceptions.
• Work with developers to align the experience with technical capabilities and access rules.
• Design clear, efficient interfaces for staff and internal administration.
• Understand staff workflows and simplify recurring operational tasks.
• Organize dashboards, forms, tables, and navigation so information is easy to find and act on.
• Create consistent patterns for managing members, memberships, and access permissions.
• Establish a distinctive visual language that reflects FITKLUSIV’s premium fitness and wellness identity.
• Maintain consistency across typography, colors, spacing, imagery, icons, and interactions.
• Build and maintain a practical design system with reusable components.
• Ensure the experience feels polished and cohesive across customer-facing products and internal tools.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX work on mobile apps and digital products.
• Experience designing complete user journeys, onboarding, registration, checkout, or subscription flows.
• Strong visual design skills and an eye for premium, consistent interfaces.
• Proficiency in Figma, including components, Auto Layout, design systems, and interactive prototyping.
• Ability to turn complex requirements into simple, practical user experiences.
• Experience preparing designs for development and collaborating closely with engineers.
• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and mobile interaction patterns.
• Ability to take ownership, prioritize work, and operate independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, founder-led environment.

• $1,500–3,000 per month, depending on experience, expertise, and agreed scope.
• The role can initially be structured as a part-time or freelance engagement. Workload, deliverables, and compensation will be agreed based on the engagement format.
