Native Design is an independent design and innovation consultancy that creates new products and experiences across consumer electronics, technology, healthcare, wellness, and automotive. The studio has operated independently in East London for over twenty years.

• Set visual design direction across multi-modal digital and AI experiences, including motion 3D and augmented reality;
• Deliver outstanding visual and UI design work from concept to reality;
• Set design standards across the studio;
• Line-manage and mentor senior and junior designers;
• Own client accounts and relationships;
• Manage client expectations and maintain trust throughout projects;
• Contribute to new business through proposals, pitches, and opportunities within existing accounts;
• Work across disciplines, bridging visual craft with 3D, UX thinking, engineering constraints, and client strategy;
• Explore and integrate new AI tools into the design workflow;
• Design for AI-driven experiences;
• Maintain high standards for typography, hierarchy, layout, interaction, and overall craft;
• Support the team through ambiguity, iteration, testing, and changing direction.

• Track record of delivering high-impact visual and UI work across multiple industries;
• Experience in a fast-paced creative agency environment;
• Ability to set visual design direction with confidence;
• Strong craft and strategic thinking;
• Very strong communication skills;
• Ability to lead clients through a design journey;
• Direct experience managing designers;
• Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback and support team development;
• Ability to lead client relationships, manage expectations, and maintain trust;
• Understanding of the commercial side of a studio;
• Working knowledge of motion design, including timing, transitions, and bringing UI to life across platforms;
• Ability to work fluidly across disciplines;
• Ability to stay effective under ambiguity and help a team do the same;
• Genuine passion for design craft.
