Symbiotic provides infrastructure for collateral markets where capital secures financial obligations, remains productive, and is enforced by code. The platform changes the economics of onchain collateral to enable new categories of neofinance applications, including credit, insurance, and real-world asset liquidity.

• Lead the product design function collaborating closely with Leadership, Engineering, Product and Marketing teams;
• Design the full user journey for Symbiotic's product stack making onchain complexity legible and optimising for clean user flows;
• Surface risk, exposure, and returns so users understand what they're committing to and what happens when conditions change;
• Run user research by interviewing users, watching how they actually behave, and turning findings into concrete feature scopes engineering can build from;
• Partner closely with Engineering to define problems, weigh tradeoffs, and design within real protocol constraints rather than around them.

• Deep on-chain fluency encompassing wallets, approvals, signing, gas, transaction lifecycle, and chain latency with a working understanding of how each constrains design;
• Shipped a DeFi product to real users and can point to it;
• Maintain a portfolio showing end-to-end product work with systems-level thinking and obsessive detail;
• Proven track record of operating autonomously in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with limited oversight;
• Comfortable working without scaffolding, existing design teams, or inherited design systems;
• Conduct independent user research without waiting for it to be handed over;
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills to partner closely with Engineering and hold positions under scrutiny;
• Deep fluency in Figma and modern prototyping workflows.
