bonify is a Berlin-based FinTech startup that gives customers free and easy access to their credit scores and financial data. It offers tools and personalized recommendations to help customers optimize their financial situation.

• Lead product design for a defined area across mobile and web
• Turn complex financial and credit-related information into simple, useful, and trustworthy experiences
• Plan and conduct customer research, interviews, and usability testing, particularly with German-speaking users
• Translate qualitative research and behavioral data into clear product decisions
• Create user flows, interaction models, prototypes, and polished product experiences in Figma
• Work closely with Engineering to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and implemented with high quality
• Partner with Product and Data to define success and evaluate the impact of shipped work
• Contribute to and improve reusable patterns and the design system
• Use AI practically to accelerate research, exploration, prototyping, and documentation
• Help shape AI-powered customer experiences where relevant, applying sound judgment around trust, clarity, and user control
• Share expertise, give thoughtful feedback, and help raise design quality across the team

• Around 6–8 years of experience in product design, ideally on digital consumer products
• Strong experience designing end-to-end product experiences across mobile and web
• Advanced skills in Figma, interaction design, and prototyping
• Hands-on user research experience, including planning and conducting research
• Ability to simplify complex, data-heavy, or sensitive topics into clear customer experiences
• Strong product thinking and ability to connect design decisions to customer and business outcomes
• Experience working closely with Product, Engineering, and Data in cross-functional teams
• Confidence working independently and taking ownership from ambiguity through delivery
• German at C1 level or above, including the ability to conduct customer interviews and usability studies
• Strong practical experience using AI tools in the design workflow, such as for exploration, synthesis, prototyping, or documentation
• Collaborative, kind, and constructive working style
