Jack Westin is a medical college admissions test (MCAT) preparation company that creates high-quality, free practice materials. It helps students develop the scientific reasoning skills and knowledge needed for the MCAT.

• Design end-to-end experiences across Jack Westin's marketing site, from the first ad click through to a completed purchase or booked advisory call;
• Research the market and customers using analytics, support tickets, student interviews, and competitive analysis to shape product decisions;
• Raise the visual quality and establish a premium, consistent visual language across the site;
• Design experiences for an American audience with native tone, imagery, and trust signals;
• Build and maintain a documented marketing design system for the developer and graphic designer;
• Collaborate with the copywriter on headlines, labels, microcopy, and form copy;
• Fix conversion problems, including inconsistent CTAs, an over-long booking form, and underperforming high-traffic pages;
• Propose and review A/B tests with the performance marketer and iterate based on data;
• Hand off work to the WordPress developer with specifications covering states, breakpoints, and edge cases;
• Design blog and editorial templates supporting SEO strategy and reading experience.

• Five or more years of experience designing marketing sites, landing pages, or subscription and e-commerce funnels;
• A premium portfolio with a project suitable for presentation to a top-of-market client;
• At least one case study showing results before and after, including relevant numbers;
• Excellent written and spoken English;
• Strong instincts for a US audience;
• Comfortable using GA4, heatmaps, or session recordings to form independent hypotheses;
• Experience using AI in the design workflow, with a clear understanding of its useful and unreliable applications;
• Ability to learn a new industry quickly and understand the MCAT, students, and competitors within the first month;
• Ability to work effectively on a small distributed team as the senior design voice;
• Nice to have: experience designing for WordPress or page builder environments, prototyping in code or with AI-assisted build tools, background in education, test prep, or other high-consideration purchase categories, editorial or publication design experience.
