Air Apps is a family-founded company creating an AI-powered Personal & Entrepreneurial Resource Planner. Founded in Lisbon in 2018, the self-funded company has reached over 100 million downloads worldwide and operates offices in Lisbon and San Francisco.

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors;
• Translate research insights into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups;
• Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries across iOS, Android, and web interfaces;
• Own the design process from concept ideation and user flows to final visual design;
• Create pixel-perfect, responsive experiences across devices and screen sizes;
• Work with Product Managers to shape product strategy and define requirements;
• Partner with Engineers to ensure technical feasibility and smooth handoff of assets and specifications;
• Refine designs using user feedback, A/B testing results, and analytics;
• Improve user satisfaction, engagement, and retention through iterative design changes;
• Advocate for user experience best practices;
• Improve design processes, tooling, and team culture;
• Mentor and guide less experienced designers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field;
• 3+ Years of experience with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD;
• Solid understanding of layout, typography, and color theory;
• Strong attention to detail and usability;
• Familiarity with native mobile design patterns, including Human Interface Guidelines for iOS and Material Design for Android;
• Understanding of responsive web design principles;
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing;
• Ability to apply qualitative and quantitative feedback to improve designs;
