product designer for AI experiences

Picsart is an AI media production and distribution platform where more than 100 million creators and businesses worldwide make, market, and monetize content.

• Prototype and test quickly using design, AI, and code-based tools;
• Put real prototypes in front of creators early to evaluate generative experiences;
• Use research and data to align work with how creators create;
• Work with product, engineering, data science, growth, and marketing teams from the start;
• Shape how creators’ assets and outputs are surfaced and reused through search, recommendations, and automation;
• Work in the Cascade design system, extending it when needed;
• Help define standards for AI-native design.

• Apply strong traditional design craft across typography, layout, spacing, hierarchy, motion, states, and edge cases;
• Have 5+ years of experience designing consumer-facing products, ideally SaaS, creative tools, or productivity platforms;
• Have experience designing complex systems and workflows such as content platforms, dashboards, automation tools, or multi-surface ecosystems;
• Demonstrate systems thinking beyond individual screens;
• Be comfortable with AI-assisted design workflows and rapid prototyping;
• Be familiar with front-end code or code-based prototyping, including vibe coding;
• Show judgement about when a system should suggest, draft, act, or stop and ask;
• Have experience improving activation, retention, and engagement flows;
• Communicate clearly and explain design decisions;
• Provide a portfolio showing end-to-end thinking and work that moved something;
• Nice to have: experience designing AI-powered features such as generation, search, recommendations, auto-tagging, or smart organisation; video or content-production workflows; file systems, cloud storage, or asset management tools; interest in AI-native experiences beyond current UI patterns; motion and animation craft.

• Full-Time Contractor on a 12-month contract;
• Remote work with the option to join the office whenever desired.
