JetBrains develops developer tools that automate routine checks and corrections, helping software developers work more efficiently. Its Air product is an agentic development environment where multiple AI agents run tasks in parallel while developers remain in control, combining a native desktop app, a web-based experience, cloud execution, and collaborative workflows.

• Design and deliver user interfaces through wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes;
• Lead large-scale initiatives from vision and strategy through execution;
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and researchers to define problems, align goals, and ensure solutions meet user and business needs;
• Communicate design concepts and decisions to promote team alignment and comprehension;
• Collaborate with UX Research and Analytics to validate ideas and create solutions grounded in user needs and behavioral data;
• Work with the development team to implement and review UI/UX solutions;
• Improve design processes with the UX team;
• Help develop the design system to maintain visual and functional consistency while enabling flexibility and scale.

• At least 5 years of experience in UI/UX design;
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where the product, technology, and priorities evolve quickly;
• Experience designing complex functional interfaces;
• Willingness to dive into complex programming-related topics;
• Ability to prototype, verify, present, and explain UI/UX solutions;
• Diligence and attention to detail;
• Spoken and written English sufficient for everyday communication and documentation;
• Proactivity, independence, and strong time-management skills;
• Ability to work in a team and seek feedback to improve solutions and processes;
• Nice to have: experience designing developer-focused products or technical environments, experience designing complex functional interfaces, programming experience, experience working with AI.
