Bolter is an AI agent platform that helps people complete real work without stitching together multiple tools or spending weeks on setup. It creates and runs agents from plain-language instructions, retains context, adapts to users’ workflows, and generates shareable applications such as trackers and dashboards.

• Lead a significant redesign of the existing Bolter product;
• Build and own Bolter’s design system from the ground up;
• Define interaction patterns for creating, understanding, and steering AI agents;
• Shape the experience across the workspace and agent-generated applications;
• Make pragmatic trade-offs between speed, clarity, and craft;
• Move quickly from ideas to working designs and strengthen what proves useful;
• Help shape the early design and product team as Bolter grows.

• Experience designing and shipping consumer-facing digital products, ideally AI products, productivity tools, or chat applications;
• Experience significantly improving or rethinking an existing product experience;
• Ability to think in systems and interaction patterns rather than individual screens;
• Strong product and design judgment;
• Care for craft with the ability to prioritize speed and pragmatism over polish when needed;
• Comfort designing while the product is still being defined rather than working from a settled brief;
• Ability to form clear opinions and adapt them when evidence changes;
• Nice to have: experience with AI products, strong B2C or D2C productivity and chat experiences.
