Product Designer

Founda develops a healthcare data platform with a focus on clinician-facing user interfaces for healthcare users.

• Conduct user interviews and gather qualitative insights into clinician needs, pain points, and clinical workflows;
• Collaborate with Product Management to review competitor products and industry UX/UI trends;
• Plan and run usability tests with real users;
• Produce wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for clinician-facing interfaces using AI tools;
• Build interactive prototypes for demos and stakeholder validation;
• Use current Figma capabilities and workflows;
• Create, maintain, and evolve design systems across product features;
• Leverage AI-based design and prototyping tools to accelerate ideation and produce demo-ready prototypes;
• Translate feature requirements into design concepts aligned with product goals and user needs;
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure feasibility, clarify specifications, and support implementation;
• Gather and incorporate feedback from Product, Engineering, and Marketing;
• Run validation sessions with users and stakeholders and refine designs based on real-world usage;
• Work with Product Management to monitor post-launch usage and UX metrics;
• Keep design files, decisions, and documentation organized for a clean handback;
• Support go-to-market efforts with user-friendly graphics and content insights.

• Prior experience designing healthcare user interfaces;
• Strong focus on user needs and real-world clinical workflows;
• Heavy, fluent use of AI tools for design and prototyping;
• Up-to-date knowledge of Figma capabilities;
• Proven ability to build and maintain design systems;
• Attention to detail and ability to create polished, accessible, technically sound output;
• Self-directed collaboration in a part-time, fixed-term role;
• Based in the EU.

• Contractor (freelance) engagement;
• Part-time commitment of 3 days per week;
• Fixed-term contract for approximately 5 months covering maternity leave.
