• Gather and analyze information to develop and support design decisions;
• Conduct research and analyze insights to create end-to-end flows, wireframes, and prototypes that guide users through products and services;
• Validate whether designs fulfill their intended objectives;
• Analyze user feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve the user experience;
• Contribute high-fidelity designs and UI components to the design system;
• Collaborate with Product, Tech, and the Manager to align design work with business initiatives;
• Advocate for customers, promote a strong design culture, and foster a human-centric mindset;
• Support a cross-disciplinary consumer team across consumer channels and touchpoints, helping users understand and navigate services;
• Optimize user interactions and the overall service experience across consumer touchpoints and channels.

• Proficient in conducting user research, identifying user needs, and translating them into intuitive design solutions;
• Experienced in leading end-to-end product design processes from concept ideation to final implementation, aligned with business goals and technical constraints;
• Skilled in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma;
• Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and deliver user experiences in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong understanding of interaction design principles, information architecture, usability practices, user flows, and intuitive interfaces;
• Proficient in usability testing, feedback gathering, and design iteration;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions and advocate for user-centered solutions;
• Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills; able to translate complex user requirements into design approaches and estimates;
• Nice to have: mentoring junior designers, partnering with multiple designers and stakeholders across complex product ecosystems, financial services or fintech products, product frameworks and development technologies, B2B/B2C/B2B2C products, accessibility standards and guidelines such as WCAG.

• Flexible working conditions are available;
• The role is based in Amsterdam, Berlin, or Heerenveen;
• Office attendance is expected twice a week, with occasional travel for team meetings and cross-functional workshops.
