Nekki is a game developer and publisher with projects including Spine, Shadow Fight, Fight Me!, Vector, and Shades. The Cross Project team works across several Nekki projects, focusing on meta and monetization and reworking the economies of existing games.

• Break down the existing economy of a project and collect and structure its parameters;
• Build economy models in spreadsheets;
• Calculate progression, resource sources and sinks, the cost of in-game entities, and the pace at which players obtain them;
• Find imbalances and report the problems uncovered;
• Model changes, prepare new versions of the economy, and recalculate when inputs change;
• Discuss solutions with the Head of Monetization;
• Build personal tools when a task calls for them;
• Work with analytics to validate models against real player data.

• Build, calculate, and recalculate game economies, including resource sources and sinks, progression costs, accumulation rates, upgrades, and rewards;
• Understand basic math; advanced higher math is not required;
• Pay attention to detail and work patiently and accurately with large tables and interconnected parameters;
• Think logically and check results against common sense to notice contradictions, anomalous values, and model errors;
• Figure out a system independently and understand not only what a formula returns but why it returns that value;
• Report vulnerabilities and problems instead of keeping them undisclosed;
• Work with analytics for self-checking, either independently or by setting appropriate verification tasks;
• Apply AI tools in work or be willing to learn them;
• Create personal tools to solve tasks;
• Have experience in game development;
• Nice to have: experience with games with complex, multi-layered economies, including 4X, RPG, strategy, battlers, midcore, and live service projects; experience working with configs and analytics.
