Octopus Money provides financial planning and investing services by combining human coaching with technology to create personalized financial plans. The company operates as part of the Octopus Group, focusing on making financial guidance accessible and helping individuals manage their investments through expert-led portfolios.

• Lead design from discovery through to delivery within a product squad;
• Own the end-to-end experience for mobile and web applications;
• Translate user research, data insights, and business goals into usable design solutions;
• Prototype, user test, and refine concepts to validate ideas;
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and engineers;
• Use generative AI to augment and accelerate problem analysis, ideation, and prototyping;
• Contribute to the Ink design system by evolving components, patterns, and documentation;
• Raise the design bar through attention to UI craft and usability.

• 3+ Years of experience designing digital products end-to-end in cross-functional teams;
• Advanced proficiency in Figma;
• Experience with user testing platforms such as usertesting.com, Lyssna, or Userlytics;
• Familiarity with AI-augmented design processes;
• Proven experience working with and contributing to evolving design systems;
• Ability to work at pace while maintaining quality and making sensible decisions;
• Experience of testing and validating prototype designs with users;
• Nice to have: Experience designing for native mobile apps (iOS or Android), Fintech or financial services experience, Exposure to behavioural design principles and methods.

• Base salary £45,000 - £52,000 per year;
