Data analyst in fintech

We're looking for a Data Analyst to transform raw data into meaningful insights through effective data preparation, business intelligence, and compelling visual storytelling. You'll work at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, helping turn information from multiple sources into clear, reliable, and actionable visualizations that support business decision-making.

• Extract, transform, and cleanse data from diverse sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across analytical solutions.
• Design and develop interactive, visually engaging dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Connect visualization platforms to different data sources, including databases, APIs, and data lakes, ensuring efficient and reliable access to information.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate business objectives into meaningful visual insights.
• Build and optimise data preparation workflows using tools such as Power Query, Tableau Prep, or Alteryx, supporting efficient and consistent data processing.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes, and visualization techniques while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Previous experience in Data Visualization, Business Intelligence, and ETL processes, with practical knowledge of dashboard and reporting development.
• Proficiency in at least one BI platform, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Experience with Power Query, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, or similar tools for data transformation and cleansing.
• Solid knowledge of SQL, database management systems, and common data formats such as CSV, JSON, and XML.
• Ability to adapt to different teams and project environments, work independently, and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills and an interest in working on international projects, with flexibility to travel when required.
