• During the assignment, the student gains practical experience with modern data technologies, AI-driven techniques and real-world challenges.
• You will work closely with senior engineers, developers and architects and receive guidance throughout the research and development phases.
• The following two topics are examples of possible graduation assignments and can be adapted to match the student's interests and needs.
• The student will research decision support theory, recommendation logic and ethical considerations such as bias, accountability and human control.
• Using public or synthetic data, the student will create a Power BI proof of concept presenting AI-supported recommendations together with evidence, assumptions and uncertainty indicators.
• The focus is on supporting human decision-makers rather than automating decisions.
• The student will research natural-language analytics, semantic modeling and business glossaries, focusing on how definitions and KPI logic affect analytical correctness.
• The key challenge is to design an interaction in which GenAI helps interpret user questions, while all calculations remain based on predefined business semantics.
• A Power BI proof of concept will show how natural-language questions can be translated into analytical questions using a governed semantic layer, with GenAI helping with interpretation and explanation rather than calculation.

• You are a fourth-year HBO student or a WO master's student and are looking for an educational and challenging graduation internship starting February 1, 2027, in IT consulting, with a focus on data analysis and visualization.
• You are interested in analytics, data analysis, business intelligence, data visualization and translating business questions into data-driven insights.
• You are proficient in English and Dutch.
• You are motivated to set up a good graduation research project, are proactive and work independently, and enjoy meeting new people!
• Будет плюсом: You may already have some experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI), SQL, working with datasets and/or gathering and structuring requirements, or you would like to develop further in these areas
