The team operates a financial data warehouse built on Microsoft Fabric and supports financial data operations and reporting in collaboration with IT and Finance teams.

• Operate and monitor financial data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric, including daily checks, troubleshooting, and refreshes;
• Validate data quality during each period close across all entities, including completeness, mapping accuracy, and reconciliation with source systems;
• Maintain and update account mapping files for GL accounts, projects, and cost centers with the Finance team;
• Manage SSAS model refreshes on Azure Analysis Services for Excel and Power BI users;
• Onboard new country entities into the data warehouse by replicating existing pipeline patterns;
• Support the budget cycle through template preparation, data loading, and model updates;
• Serve as the primary IT contact for the Finance team on data-related questions;
• Handle ad-hoc data requests, including extracts, reconciliation checks, and report adjustments;
• Work with standard financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow;
• Support Finance during period close by validating data in real time, fixing mapping issues, and ensuring timely model refreshes;
• Establish regular communication with Finance to track open requests and upcoming needs;
• Use AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve productivity, write queries, analyze data, draft documentation, and troubleshoot issues.

• Confident working knowledge of SQL, including queries, data validation, joins, and aggregations;
• Knowledge of Power BI and DAX measures;
• Experience with SSAS and Tabular models;
• Understanding of financial reports, including P&L and Balance Sheet, and how their figures connect;
• Strong attention to detail;
• English and Russian;
• Nice to have: Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for productivity.
