• Monitor, analyze, and report on billing and support performance metrics including payments, renewals, refunds, and disputes;
• Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure accurate and reliable billing data;
• Apply statistical methods to model scenarios, perform "what-if" analyses, and anticipate financial risk;
• Design and execute A/B tests and experiments to evaluate billing and support initiatives;
• Analyze the impact of product, marketing, and pricing changes on billing outcomes and customer support metrics;
• Create and maintain dashboards to provide real-time visibility into billing health;
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations to reduce churn, disputes, and operational inefficiencies;
• Document analyses, workflows, and data logic to ensure consistency;
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data analysts by setting expectations and coaching on methodology;
• Manage the team’s intake and prioritization process to align with business needs;
• Partner with Billing, Support, Finance, Product, and Marketing departments to align metrics and risk-mitigation goals.

• Deep expertise in subscription billing, including payments, renewals, refunds, and disputes in a recurring-revenue business;
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, and performance-aware query writing;
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Omni, Tableau, or Power BI;
• Experience in people leadership, including setting priorities, distributing work, and managing team results;
• Strong background in statistical analysis, experiment design, and translating business questions into structured data projects;
• Familiarity with billing platforms and processors like Stripe, Braintree, or Nuvei;
• Ability to explain complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Proven track record of influencing cross-functional decisions with data;
• Nice to have: Python, modern analytics tooling like dbt or Airflow, experience building ETL/ELT pipelines for financial data, risk or fraud-adjacent experience, advanced visualization techniques.
