Business analyst in finance

Scalian is a company of more than 6,000 people with an international presence and offices in Europe and North America. We specialize in providing services to various clients focused on Data, Cloud, and Artificial Intelligence. We are looking to bring on a Senior Business Analyst to participate in a digital transformation program within the R&D area, working on the integration of different platforms and business systems.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to identify, gather, and define functional requirements.
• Analyze existing systems, business processes, and data flows.
• Prepare detailed, clear, and structured functional specifications to serve as a basis for development teams.
• Translate business needs into functional designs and actionable requirements.
• Document processes, workflows, interactions between systems, and integration mappings.
• Coordinate requirements validation with the different stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between business teams, IT, and external providers.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
• Provide support in preparing and coordinating UAT, as well as in change management activities.

• At least 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
• Demonstrable experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and specification documentation.
• Experience working with complex technology environments and integration of multiple systems.
• Ability to analyze processes, data flows, and interactions between platforms.
• Experience managing stakeholders and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to connect business needs with technical teams.
• Experience working on programs with different workstreams running in parallel and in dynamic environments.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluent English is essential.
