Business analyst in finance

My client is an established, internationally active company operating in a dynamic business environment with high demands for transparency and data-driven decision-making. The organization places great importance on modern reporting and management tools to ensure sustainable growth and operational excellence. As the Finance department develops further, the Business Analyst (m/f/d) role is being filled. We are looking for someone who connects Finance, Business and data analysis and acts as a knowledgeable contact for various stakeholders.

• Create, develop and automate reports, dashboards and analyses
• Analyze financial, business and performance metrics
• Advise the Finance Leadership Team on strategic and operational matters
• Handle complex ad hoc analyses and management requests
• Identify optimization and efficiency potential in reporting
• Work with business departments to derive relevant KPIs
• Prepare and present analysis results for different stakeholders
• Support forecasting, budgeting and planning processes
• Ensure high data quality and consistency across reporting

• Successfully completed a degree in business or economics with a focus on Finance
• Several years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, BI Analyst or in a comparable role
• Experience using modern BI and reporting tools
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Experience creating and interpreting complex data analyses
• Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
• Experience working with Finance and Business stakeholders
• Confident handling of large volumes of data and complex relationships
• Structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Strong numerical aptitude and a pronounced business understanding
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
