Business analyst in data and BI

At Smart Consulting, we are looking for a Business Analyst – Data & BI to join a challenging project, where you will have the opportunity to bridge the gap between business areas and technical data teams, understanding the organization's processes and needs and translating them into functional requirements for developing data solutions and identifying improvement opportunities, particularly through AI.

• Analyze business processes and identify information, reporting and analytics needs;
• Gather and structure requirements from stakeholders, translating them into functional data specifications;
• Define specifications for Datamarts, including data sources, entities, relationships, transformation rules and KPIs;
• Specify Dashboards and reporting solutions, defining indicators, analysis dimensions, filters and business rules;
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and BI teams to implement the solutions;
• Validate data, Datamarts and Dashboards, ensuring information quality and consistency;
• Ensure the functional and technical documentation of the solutions.

• Around 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proven experience in Data, BI or Analytics contexts;
• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into data and reporting requirements;
• Knowledge of data modeling, including entities, relationships, dimensions, facts and KPIs;
• Experience in the functional specification of Datamarts and Dashboards;
• Knowledge of SQL for data exploration, analysis and validation;
• Good communication and coordination skills with business stakeholders and technical teams;
• Autonomy, analytical thinking and attention to data quality.
• Advanced English.
• Будет плюсом: Hands-on experience building Datamarts and Dashboards; Knowledge of Power BI (semantic models, measures and KPIs) and/or DOMO; Knowledge of dimensional modeling, namely Star Schema, Fact Tables and Dimension Tables; Experience in Data Warehouse, Data Lake or Lakehouse environments; A hands-on approach, with the ability to participate directly in building the solutions; Knowledge of Spanish

• Total annual salary compensation package between €30,000 and €35,000
