A 750-word personal statement. Your Personal Statement should provide details on how you meet the essential criteria for this role, by stating what you have done and how you went about it, it should be aligned to demonstrate your suitability for this role.
Prior to applications being sifted candidates will be asked to complete an additional IKM assessment. Candidates will be sent details of the assessment once the advert has closed. This assessment is a pass or fail, and only those who pass will be considered at the sift stage.
During the panel interview, your experience will be assessed against the essential criteria provided within the person specification element of the job advert. You will also be required to deliver a presentation showcasing a project or piece of work where you utilised your business analysis skills.

Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst working on large, highly complex, and technical projects;
Ability to work in ambiguity while defining and agreeing the scope of business analysis work;
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, particularly process modelling and technical requirements elicitation;
Experience working directly with developers and architects to define low-level solution requirements;
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development;
Experience mentoring and leading business analysts on projects;
English and/or Welsh for customer-facing communication where required;
Nice to have: knowledge of customs and trade regulations or related domains, line management experience, familiarity with data analysis and visualization techniques, understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
