• Lead discovery and requirements discussions;
• Organize and improve the intake and analysis process within the team;
• Structure requirements to support effective development;
• Help developers and QA engineers during implementation when new questions arise;
• Investigate unfamiliar areas independently;
• Analyze edge cases, dependencies, risks, and long-term maintainability;
• Reduce ambiguity around projects;
• Work with stakeholders, developers, QA engineers, sales, customer success, and other product teams to identify problems, constraints, and sustainable solutions;
• Help teams focus on core goals and align on practical solutions.

• Solid experience in business analysis within software development teams;
• Understanding of end-to-end software development;
• Ability to structure complex information and turn unclear discussions into clear requirements;
• Ability to focus on core problems and avoid unnecessary complexity;
• Comfort discussing implementation details with engineers and understanding technical constraints;
• Ability to independently investigate unfamiliar functionality and connect information across systems;
• Focus on overall results beyond the direct area of responsibility;
• Proactive, curious, and comfortable working in an environment where documentation is incomplete;
• Ability to adapt communication style and analytical approach to different people and contexts;
• Nice to have: SQL, ability to read code well enough to understand what is happening, experience with technically complex systems or system analysis, experience with billing, subscriptions, payments, or other business-critical domains.
