Business Analyst

The Apex Group operates as a global fund administration and middle office solutions provider.

• Define and document business processes and requirements through collaborative stakeholder engagement;
• Produce technical functional and non-functional documentation as BRD's, RFP's, DRS's and User Stories with acceptance criteria;
• Communicate ideas clearly to both technical stakeholders and business end users;
• Interpret business requirements and translate these into viable solutions with tangible business benefits;
• Support development and testing during the build and test phases;
• Identify new opportunities for technology;
• Plan and track activities and tasks.

• Have 10+ years of experience working as a business analyst;
• Have 3+ years of experience in the fund accounting industry within the last 5-6 years;
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a changing and challenging environment with a record of producing high quality business analysis documentation;
• Possess knowledge of all phases of the development lifecycle;
• Work as a motivated self-starter who can function in a team environment;
• Hold a 3rd level Qualification preferably IT related;
• Have experience with UML, BMPN or other modelling notations;
• Possess excellent communication, listening and writing skills;
• Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills;
• Be able to complete work to schedule and multi-task;
• Have a background in software development;
• Have experience of implementation and rollout to critical systems;
• Have experience in Agile methodology, preferably Scrum;
• Be willing to travel limited if required to support project objectives;
• Nice to have: Experience within SAFe, Experience with Azure DevOps, PBA or CCBA preferable.
