AI governance analyst

Sumitomo Mitsui Finance Dublin Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of SMBC and a Centre of Excellence for the bank’s universal banking business across EMEA. It provides technology and operational support services aligned with SMBC’s growth, innovation, and transformation strategies.

• Manage the intake of AI use cases, check submissions for completeness and quality, and route them for review
• Provide initial guidance to stakeholders with varying levels of AI literacy
• Track use case progress, actions, and decisions throughout the governance lifecycle
• Coordinate AI-related committee processes, including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting packs, documenting decisions, and following up on actions
• Support the implementation and refinement of AI Governance processes
• Maintain and update governance artefacts, including frameworks, KRIs, and guidance documents
• Support remediation efforts for existing AI systems
• Assist in developing training materials to build organisational AI literacy
• Communicate governance requirements and expectations to stakeholders
• Liaise with control functions to ensure consistent oversight
• Contribute to developing KRIs and monitoring structures
• Support continuous improvement as relevant regulations and standards evolve

• Strong organisational and coordination skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to understand risk, governance, and compliance concepts
• Comfortable working with evolving processes

• The anticipated salary range is €50,600.00 – €105,800.00
