Account Manager (Turkmen-speaking)

As an Account Manager, you will manage an assigned portfolio of existing clients in Turkmenistan, focusing on building long-term relationships, improving client retention, reactivating inactive clients, and delivering personalised service to VIP clients. You will understand local client needs, take ownership of follow-ups, and combine strong relationship management skills with a commercial mindset.

• Manage an assigned portfolio of clients, including newly funded, active, less active, inactive, and VIP clients
• Receive client handovers from the Sales team after the first deposit, reviewing client needs, expectations, and outstanding questions
• Maintain regular contact via phone, email, and approved messaging channels, with clear contact plans and scheduled follow-ups
• Monitor changes in client activity, understand the reasons behind reduced engagement, and address service issues before discussing further account activity
• Reconnect with inactive clients, understand their current needs, and identify appropriate opportunities to resume the relationship
• Provide personalised service to VIP clients and explain available benefits and account conditions within approved eligibility criteria
• Explain company services, account features, and payment options clearly and accurately
• Work with the relevant internal teams to resolve payment, withdrawal, verification, and platform queries
• Work towards agreed targets for client retention, reactivation, and repeat funding while maintaining service quality and following internal procedures
• Keep accurate CRM records covering client preferences, interaction history, outstanding issues, and next actions

• Proven experience in account management, retention, or VIP client management within a fintech company
• Experience working with clients from Turkmenistan and understanding their common needs
• Proven ability to manage a client portfolio, build long-term relationships, and meet retention or account development targets
• Good communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
• Fluent Turkmen, with good written and spoken Russian and basic English
• Understanding of financial products, account conditions, and digital platforms
• Practical understanding of client verification, deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers
• Ability to prioritise client needs, manage scheduled follow-ups, and take ownership of cases through to resolution
• A responsible approach to confidential client information and internal compliance requirements
• Ability to work on-site in Yerevan, and openness to relocating if currently based abroad
• Knowledge of additional regional languages
• Experience managing VIP or high-value client relationships
• Familiarity with payment methods commonly used in Turkmenistan
• Experience using CRM systems, client segmentation, and retention reporting tools
