Our Zeus VPP platform turns fleets of batteries into a single, coordinated virtual power plant, optimizing storage and trading electricity across European markets automatically, around the clock. We’re a Helsinki-based company growing quickly across Finland, the Baltics, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Poland and beyond.

As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll keep our hiring processes running smoothly, from the first conversation with a hiring manager through every interview round. Our sourcers bring in strong candidates; you take them through a process that’s well run, fair and fast, and help hiring managers make good decisions..

This is a hands-on recruiting role. Your craft is running processes well: keeping things moving, keeping candidates engaged and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

You’ll join our People team as part of Talent Acquisition, working hand in hand with the hiring managers building Capalo: the optimization and trading minds behind our product, the engineers shipping it and the commercial leaders growing our European markets.

• Run several recruitment processes at once across technical, trading, commercial and leadership roles
• Hold kick-off meetings with hiring managers and turn their needs into clear profiles and interview plans
• Screen candidates, coordinate interviews and gather feedback so decisions happen quickly
• Keep candidates informed at every stage and make sure everyone who talks to us leaves with a good impression
• Keep our ATS organized and current so we can trust our pipeline data
• Help build the basics as we grow: interview templates, scorecards and candidate communication

• Experience running multiple concurrent recruitment processes end-to-end, in-house or agency
• Pace and organisation: you’re comfortable juggling many processes and good at keeping them moving in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence with hiring managers: you can ask the right questions, challenge, give honest updates and keep a process on track when it stalls
• Comfort with ambiguity: we’re still building how we hire, so you’ll do a bit of everything for now
• Strong written and spoken English, since you’ll be in constant contact with candidates and hiring managers
• Curiosity about technical and energy markets or the drive to get up to speed quickly
• Experience hiring engineering, technical or quantitative talent
• Experience in a fast-growth, startup or scale-up environment
• Experience hiring for the energy industry.
